It is too hot/cold in my area of the library. Are you able to adjust the thermostat?

Answer

The temperatures in the Library (and law school) are controlled remotely via computer by Facilities Management. If the thermostat reads between 68 and 76 degrees, this is considered the “normal” range for buildings on campus, and Facilities will not adjust the temperature. If the thermostat reading is outside this range, we will report this to Facilities Management immediately. Unfortunately, the temperature is adjusted remotely and can take between 30 to 45 minutes to change. If you need to report a temperature issue, please email libraryhelp@law.ucla.edu. Please be sure to include your location.
