How do I connect to the wireless network?
Answer
Three major networks:
- eduroam (preferred network for current UCLA Students, staff and faculty)
Requires login with your UCLA logon account. Provides a fully encrypted, secure wireless connection across the entire campus.
- UCLA_WIFI
Requires password authentication with a UCLA logon account. Supports more services than UCLA_WEB below, such as checking email in an application, accessing cloud services, or video conferencing.
- UCLA_WEB (only option for UCLA visitors)
Doesn't require authentication to connect. Useful for quick browser searches.
Please note: most UCLA licensed databases are available when using all of these WIFI networks.
